
Tuck into this traditional American baked pudding, made with sweetened and spiced apples with buttered bread crumbs on top.
7 Ingredients
2 cups soft brown breadcrumbs
50g unsalted butter, melted
3-4 Granny Smith apples, sliced
40ml (2 tbsp) lemon juice
1 lemon, rind grated
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 tsp ground cinnamon

Method Steps
Sprinkle apples with lemon juice and rind, sugar and cinnamon. Layer half the apples in 4 ovenproof ramekins and cover with half the crumb mixture. Repeat. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Uncover and bake for 20 minutes. Serve with cream or ice-cream.
