Ingredients.
- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- ⅔ cup white sugar
- 1 ½ teaspoons baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup mashed bananas
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 large egg
- 3/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Preparation.
Step 1.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9×13-inch baking dish.
Step 2.
Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl. Whisk together bananas, melted butter, milk, and egg in a medium bowl. Stir banana mixture into flour mixture until just blended. Stir in chocolate chips. Pour batter into the prepared baking dish.
Step 3.
Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean with no crumbs (melted chocolate on the toothpick is fine), 30 to 35 minutes.
